As most of you know, we went to Flatfest this year.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
We mostly went down for the festivities, which included overlanding, which the we made sure the minivan got it on. First I had to get her looking presentable:
Once we got there I wasted no time getting out on the course:
The old girl made it look easy, even amongst all the AWD vehicles around me. We ran the course a half dozen times, it got a little tougher every time as more people spun it up and beat it down, but was never more than she could handle.
2 of my girls came with, they had a blast doing the course as well. Of course we all had to match:
We got some time in watching autox and rallyx as well, along with spending some time with friends.
All in all, it was a great day.

Have one guy that seems pretty interested ( and normal ), otherwise I’ve been getting more hits off just having a sign in it parked places.

I feel like something that unique wouldn’t do well on craigslist simply because it’s not going to pop up in the search results for somebody who would be interested in it.

It’s not like I’m in a huge rush to sell it anyway.
With the fun had this weekend I’m actually looking into more events like this. If I can find some local stuff I will likely just keep this one for weekend fun with the kids and sell the 1992 instead.

It really wasn’t a hard course by any means, they want to keep it “simple” so even stock Subarus can give it a try. The trail I take to our fishing hole is about 10x harder than this course was, I was really surprised all the lifted Subarus were having issues out there.
I’d like to find more local events like this, trail rides, etc and start doing more of it, we all had a lot of fun and they were a great group of guys to chat with.
